New here? Your first single wax service is 50% off at either studio — that’s a $32.50 Brazilian, our most-requested service. Full legs and back are excluded.
We specialize in soft wax, which clears finer hair in fewer passes and keeps your appointment short. Shorter appointment, less discomfort — that’s the whole reason we work this way. Your esthetician will talk you through every step, whether it’s your first wax or your two-hundredth.

You Grow It… We Mow It!
Denver’s Brazilian waxing studio since 2013.
Wax & Lash was founded in 2013 by Tawnya Fornerod, a Denver esthetician with 25 years behind the table. What started as a sketch on a napkin is now two studios, more than 2,000 reviews at 4.9 stars, and STRIP — an aftercare line Tawnya created that estheticians across the country now use on their own clients.
Clients come in for a Brazilian and stay because of who’s in the room. Here’s what makes us different:
Soft-wax experts
Most studios default to hard wax. We built our practice around soft wax because it clears finer hair in fewer passes, which keeps your appointment short. A faster Brazilian is a more comfortable one.
A team that stays
Our estheticians stick around, so the person who did your last Brazilian remembers how you like it. No re-explaining, no starting over.
Spa-Like Atmosphere
From cozy design details to our calm, judgment-free energy, Wax & Lash is more than a studio, it’s a sanctuary.
Your comfort is our priority, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.
Frequently Asked Questions:
New to Wax & Lash, or just have a few questions before you book? These are the ones we get asked most, at both studios.
What's your most popular service?
Brazilian waxing, by a wide margin. It’s been our most-requested service since we opened in 2013, and it’s what we’ve built our technique around.
We do a lot more than that, though. Full body and face waxing for men and women, brow shaping and tinting, brow lamination, lash lifts, lash tinting, and dermaplaning — plus add-ons like a scalp massage or sheet mask if you want to make it a longer visit. Most clients end up booking two or three things at once.
Everything is available at both studios.
What can I expect on my first visit?
If you’re new — or your intake form needs updating — we’ll text it to you ahead of time so you can fill it out before you arrive. It’s also available online.
When you get here, come on in and make yourself comfortable in the waiting room. There’s no front desk to check in at. We’ll bring you something to drink, and your esthetician will come out to get you.
For any intimate service, we step out of the room so you can undress privately and get settled. Not every studio does this. We think you shouldn’t have to change in front of someone you just met.
From there your esthetician talks you through each step before it happens. Ask anything — nothing surprises us.
Which location should I book at?
Both are easy to get to, and they have different personalities.
Berkeley is at Lowell and 44th, four treatment rooms, and a bright, busy, vibrant feel. Parking is free in front and behind the building. You’re next door to Billy’s Inn, across from The Ginger Pig, and a few blocks from the Tennyson Street Arts District — easy to make a morning of it.
Central Park is off I-70 near Havana, in the former Stapleton neighborhood. It’s in an office building, so don’t let the entrance fool you — inside it’s calm and beautiful. Two treatment rooms, a slower and cozier pace, free parking, and genuinely quick to get in and out on a lunch break.
Same services and same pricing at both.
Do you have parking?
Yes, free at both studios. Berkeley has spots in front and behind the building. Central Park has free lot parking right out front.
Is there a receptionist?
No, and it’s intentional. There’s no front desk and no lobby full of people. Your esthetician greets you, offers you something to drink, and takes you straight back.
It also means we’re not answering the phone during services. Leave a voicemail, send a text, or email us and we’ll get back to you — we check constantly. Booking and rescheduling are both available anytime at waxlashdenver.com.
I've never been waxed before. Is that okay?
Very. First-timers are a big part of what we do, and your esthetician will walk you through every step before anything happens.
One thing to know before you book: hair needs about three weeks of growth — roughly the length of a grain of rice. If it’s shorter than that, the wax can’t grip it, and we may need to reschedule you further out to let it grow. It’s worth waiting for.
Your first single wax is 50% off, which makes a first Brazilian $32.50.
Can I add anything to my appointment?
Yes. A lip or underarm wax adds just a few minutes and is easy to tack onto any service.
We also offer spa add-ons at $15 each, ten minutes apiece: scalp massage, sheet mask treatment, and hydrating hand massage. Add them when you book online.
Is everyone welcome here?
Yes. Every body, every identity, every experience level.
We wax people of all genders, sizes, ages, and backgrounds. If you’ve had a bad experience somewhere else, or you’ve never felt comfortable in a spa setting, that’s a common reason people find us.
Grace, connection, and calm are the values we built this business on, and they show up in how we treat you on the table. You’ll be looked after here.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, when the schedule allows. Come in, have a seat, and someone will be out shortly to see if we can fit you in.
Booking ahead is the surest way to get the time you want, and our online scheduler at waxlashdenver.com is open around the clock.
Ready to book? Grab a spot at whichever studio is closer — Berkeley or Central Park. Your first single wax is 50% off.
Waxing Aftercare That Actually Works
A wax is only half of it. What you do in the days after is what keeps skin calm, clear, and ingrown-free between appointments.
Our founder, Tawnya Fornerod, spent 25 years behind the table in Denver before creating Just The Strip — an aftercare line now used by estheticians across the country on their own clients. Every product we recommend here is one she made.
Truth Serum is our natural ingrown hair serum, formulated with botanical ingredients for anyone who prefers a gentler approach or has reactive skin.
Smooth Operator is the stronger option — a targeted serum that treats existing ingrowns and razor bumps, and evens out dark spots over time. If you get ingrowns regularly, start here.
Nourishing Oil is lightweight hydration oil that keeps skin supple between waxes. Used consistently, it reduces waxing discomfort substantially — one of the simplest things you can do to make your next Brazilian easier.
You’ll also find Wipe It Good Wipes in every treatment room before an intimate wax. Small thing, but it means you can freshen up and settle in without having to ask.
Ask your esthetician which combination suits your skin — the answer is different for a first Brazilian than for monthly upkeep.
Two Neighborhoods We Love Being In
Berkeley — We’re at Lowell and 44th, which means Billy’s Inn is literally next door and The Ginger Pig is right across the way. We order from Ginger Pig for staff dinners more often than we’d admit — it’s how we celebrate a good week. Blush is right here on 44th if you want to shop, and a few blocks up is Tennyson Street, which has become one of the best stretches in Denver: galleries, First Friday art walks, and enough good coffee and food to make an appointment into a morning. Free parking in front and behind the building, which on Tennyson is genuinely a gift.
Our Berkeley regulars come from the Highlands, Sunnyside, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Lakewood, and Westminster.
Central Park — Off I-70 near Havana, in the neighborhood plenty of people still call Stapleton. We’re inside an office building, so the outside gives you nothing — but walk in and it’s calm, warm, and not what you expect. Two treatment rooms, a slower pace, and free parking right outside the front door.
Easy to fold into a Northfield afternoon: frozen yogurt at Munchies, a movie at Harkins, or dinner at Cattivella — the staff there are some of our favorite people in Denver. Los Chingones is the other standby.
Central Park clients come from Northfield, Eastbridge, Park Hill, Aurora, Commerce City, Thornton, and Brighton.
Same services, same pricing, same team standards at both. Book whichever gets you there faster.
